With Licensed Principal Master Instructor - Julie Gillespie This training will be held over zoom starting at 9am and finishing at 3pm. Your facilitator, Julie, is a workplace specialist that is a seasoned leader an Executive MBA and lived experience with mental ill health. (https://mhfa.com.au/instructor/243761) To maintain accreditation Mental Health First Aiders need to attend a Refresher Course within three years after their initial accreditation. Upon completion of this training and a competency based quiz, you can gain 3 more years of accreditation as a MHFAider. Workplace Focus: Just like physical first aid, updating MHFA skills and knowledge allows people to sustainably perform this vital role confidently and safely. Learning Outcomes: - Understand the latest research in the mental health field - Learn the 3 key actions for helping someone who is feeling suicidal - Work through complex mental health first aid interactions, and - Practise Mental Health First Aid skills. Price is per participant and includes GST Once you have booked your training, you will receive a calendar invite with the zoom link attached. TERMS & CONDITIONS: No refunds will be given for a change of mind. We may allow you to reschedule canceled Services within three (3) months at no extra charge, within our absolute discretion. It is possible that activities undertaken during the Mental Health First Aid® course may bring up personal issues. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in a state to be able to partake in the course and activities required. We provide mental health first aid and as a first responder will encourage you to get appropriate professional help.
